Race diff, bro.

When you finish, we should have a FWD showdown between your Focus and my RSX.

Diffs are everything. Put in the tunable diff and make it a locker. Just like in reality you should have a LSD on any FWD car with over 250HP. Also tyres. INCREASE your front tyre widths.

The FoST is really crap in 6. I have noticed there are several models that got b0rked this time around. The Sierra Cosworth is one of them, in 4 it was glorious to drive. In 6 it’s utter garbage.

As for FWD in 6, DO NOT use the Race Diff. Really, try using the Sport Diff (middle choice). It makes a HUGE impact in handling. I’ve also found that with higher HP FWD cars, you do need to have 35-40% lock dialed in.

Generally, fwd needs a soft foot especially in the turns, where the power of course can break the traction you need to turn with. Assuming this cant happen, it needs to grip more where the weight is, so stiffen the rear and soften the front for grip. Could try the sway bars. Stiff back and start softening the front a bit at a time in testing. So it rotates in corners off throttle but add spoiler so youre not crazy rotating at higher speeds sideways off course. The diff helps but its not everything

It really depends between cars. Depending on any other modifications I’ve installed (To keep it in a certain PI), I’ll have different percentages. I haven’t really touched my RSX in a while, because I’ve been too busy painting.

I’ve been doing so much tuning and paying with it, UI had to drop to stock tires and stock internals for b-class to put on race brakes, suspension and an AWD conversion.

Did you try softening the front sway bar and stiffening the rear? It helps the front end bite in instead of plowing for me at least, usually I do this to AWD setups though
